As I was *surfing* Etsy last night (my favorite web site in the WORLD now!!), I ran across this bag, which is a convertible tote, handbag/shoulderbag, and backpack, all in one!! It seems very roomy (14" X 6" X 12"), it has a removable foam bottom for stability, inside & outside pockets (that's difficult to find when some of the totes are knitted/felted/etc), and a strong magnetic top closure (again, a difficult thing to find these days in ANY handbag). And with my wish to have a bag that can serve several purposes (especially since Jordan's growing up, and I'm having to keep track of more things now), this bag is REALLY APPEALING!!! It comes in dark brown with green trim, and natural, and the creator's name on Etsy is InterferenceChannel. She also has some suede yarn and crochet yarn slippers which seem very comfortable, and I hope to get a pair of those too!! But first, the handbag, because that's the most immediate need :)
